The show (highs and lows) :

The two out of three falls match between Dolph Ziggler and Cesaro over the intercontinental championship which kicked off the show. I really enjoy both wrestlers work and think at least Cesaro is being under utilised on the roster and I hope this year creative can really make a push for him. This match was capped off overall with great wrestling which is what it should be about. Next of all we have The Bella Twins in a good match which is a surprise as on paper this match is excuse the pun a toilet break, as a lot of people know I am a huge advocate of Women’s wrestling and have been for a while now especially a lot of the females on the Indy Scene but normally I only really enjoy matches including Paige, Emma, Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Natalya and AJ Lee in WWE but this changed my opinion on the whole Divas division.

The match between The Uso’s and the eccentric Goldust and Stardust may have not been as solid as the previous outing at Night of Champions but still delivered on the performance levels put in by these men. We then get a great Hell In A Cell match to start off the second hour of action between John Cena and Randy Orton. Normally after seeing these two men battle so many times on TV it gets boring but on PPV they took it up a notch and used the environment to their full advantage. Both men had different strategies in this match which made it to be a good match and shows it is well placed at the end of the undercard. We follow that up with Big Show and Mark Henry who have a quite hilarious backstage pep talk which is then followed with a match between The Miz and Sheamus which was a match that no offence to The Miz or Sheamus but it should of been in the under card and the only real highlight of the match overall was the antics of Damian Mizdow and I am looking forward to hopefully getting the ‘showdown of the century’ between Miz and Mizdow at WrestleMania.

The next match after this is between Big Show and Rusev in a good match which including the same sort of formula we are used to with Rusev and Lana and could get stale very soon but for now it is still enjoyable. Following on from this we get Dean Ambrose pulling off another terrific promo on Seth Rollins which is what we come to expect from the Lunatic Fringe and it hypes the crowd up for the match to come later on which is sure to be a war. Paige and AJ follows this and continues the great feud between the two Divas in a pretty good match, some people may say this feud is getting boring but I enjoy watching both Paige and AJ in the ring so it is all fine with me. It was good that this match was in the position that it was to be honest as like I usually say it breaks up the show and builds up some tension for the main event to come between Ambrose and Rollins which is a segway to my thoughts about the match.

hiac2 hiac1

In my eyes this was a great match and the end to a great feud between two of WWE’s best to actually come from the Indy Scene. It was what a Hell In A Cell Match should be full of brutal weapon shots and using the Cell to full advantage.

My thoughts are that this was a good PPV but not must watch by any stretch of the imagination and only a few matches were actually worth watching. This DVD gets a 3/5 from me overall.
